What is coaching?
Coaching is a form of guidance in which a coach helps someone gain insights and realise desired changes. The coach does not provide ready-made answers, but asks questions, holds up a mirror, and guides the process. The coachee determines the direction and remains the owner of the solution.
Coaching for companies focuses on the professional context: managers who grow in their role, teams that work better together, employees who become more resilient, or entrepreneurs who seek a sounding board. In this way, coaching contributes to personal development as well as to the results of the organisation.
Coaching, training, mentoring or therapy: what is the difference?
Coaching
It starts from your question and helps you find insights and solutions yourself. Focused on growth and change, now and in the future.
Training
Provides a group with specific knowledge or skills, according to a predetermined programme.
Mentoring
An experienced colleague shares knowledge and experience and provides advice based on his or her own career path.
Therapy
It delves deeper into mental disorders and their causes, often with an emphasis on the past.
Our coaches also have a therapeutic background. Because of this, they know exactly when coaching ends and when another form of support is needed.
What does coaching bring to your organisation?
✓Managers who lead more confidently and in a more supportive way
✓Teams that work better together and resolve conflicts faster
✓Employees with more resilience and less risk of absenteeism
✓Talent that feels seen and stays longer
✓Skills that grow in a targeted way, aligned with the organisation’s goals
How does a coach work? The GROW model
Many coaches use the GROW model, a simple structure for a coaching conversation:
A model like GROW provides guidance, but good coaching is more than just a step-by-step plan. Our coaches tailor their approach to the individual and the question.
How do you choose a good coach?
Pay attention to the training and certification of the coach, for example through the ICF (International Coaching Federation), to their experience with your context and to the initial meeting. A good coach is clear about confidentiality, methods, and goals.

How long does a coaching process take?
That depends on the question. After the intake, we will create a customised course of action together.
Will what I tell you remain confidential?
Yes. Our coaches operate according to the ICF’s code of ethics. Feedback to the organisation is provided only in consultation with the coachee.
Where does the coaching take place?
You choose that yourself: at your own premises, at a location of your choice or with us in Oostkamp.
What makes coaching professional?

Yes. Many coaching programmes are paid for by the employer, especially when they relate to a new role, leadership development, or well-being. We then align the objectives with the coachee and the organisation, while respecting the confidentiality of the conversations.
